We are living in a time where there is this huge debate about My Truth and Your Truth and Their Truth.

How about we just go with The Truth?

Jesus said in John 14:6...I am the way, The Truth and the life…

It is so sad that today many Christians are confused about Truth. I know you are not one of them, but be clear: at “In The Pocket” we are going to stick with The Truth.

Dictionary.com defines Truth as The actual state of a matter, conformity with fact, reality; a proven or verified principle or statement; an undisputed fact.

Have you ever thought about how truth impacts your life on a day-to-day basis? How important it really is? Did you realize that your actions, your thoughts, and your emotions are a reflection of something you believe or perceive to be true? With that in mind, what is the foundation/source of your truth? What are you as a born-again Believer using as a filter for what you see, you say, and what you hear?

Remember: you who have Jesus as your Lord and Savior have a whole other dimension to truth. It is found in John 17:17 where Jesus is talking to God and He says:”Sanctify them by the Truth, your Word is Truth.

So now you don’t have just social media truth or your friends truth or your family’s truth. You have The truth, Gods’ word.

Think of how awesome it is that you have the benefits of The truth available to help you on a daily basis.

You do realize that you have something that those who are unsaved walking right next to you, do not have?

Here are just a couple of examples:

Just think when the boss goes crazy or people start acting a fool on your job; right in the midst of it you can experience Philippians(NLT) 4:7..the peace of God that passes all understanding keeping your heart and your mind through Christ Jesus.

Or maybe you have a decision to make and don’t know what to do; again you have The truth found in James 1:5 (AMP) If any of you lacks wisdom [to guide him through a decision or circumstance], he is to ask of …. God, who gives to everyone generously….. and it will be given to him.

So the next time somebody brings up that My Truth conversation, just smile because you have the answer. It is called “The Truth”.
